this bar has met all my expectations. the hook slides easily from side to side making toe side riding easier. this bar works as well as the ride engine bar with rings but provides the added functionality of being able to execute a dead man kite launch with the sliding hook. i haven´t needed to tighten the rope the hook slides on, but my previous experience with sliding rings suggests the rope will stretch and being able to tighten it will be useful rather than having ,to replace the rope.

The Dakine Option Spreader bar was received 15 days after I placed my order and while the tracking information was sparse it seem to provide accurate status when the bar left Europe, when it entered the USA and when it arrived in my city and when it was delivered. I hope the sliding hook will slide as freely as the 2 rings I am using now and the hook will allow be to do dead man self launches.
