The Duo is an MP3 player designed for swimmers that offers the highest quality sound without the use of ear buds. The Duo utilizes a sleek, two-piece design and Bone Conduction audio transmission to deliver crystal clear audio through cheekbones to the inner ear. An integrated clip design secures the Duo to goggle straps to rest on the cheekbones for a comfortable and streamlined fit. A simplified interface offers four buttons to easily navigate between songs, podcasts, audiobooks and other supported audio files. The Duo supports unprotected MP3 and WMA files. The included USB magnetic dock allows for universal data transfers and charging. The device offers 4GB of flash memory and a Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery life of up to 7 hours.

The best possible underwater listening device available. However I am now on my fifth Finis Duo. Either the connecting wire comes lose or the plastic holders deteriorate and break off very easily (and as someone who worked in a Dive shop, I know how look after underwater equipment). I would not use any other aquatic MP3 player, but I do wish they could make them more durable.

The truth is that they are heard much better than any other button in ear, since being the ose system you can wear earplugs. The sound is acceptable and swimming, if it is for long runs, becomes much more entertaining. As negative 2 things. If the cable that connects them breaks, throw it away and they are worth a lot. The second problem is that when you wear them for more than 1/2 hour, you end up with a headache due to the pressure they exert and if you loosen the glasses, then water enters you. But it is true, underwater they are heard quite well.

Magnificent mp3 player for swimming in the pool, I had already tried a few of those that go into the ear but this one is by far the best of all. I recommend it

Cable quality should be improved, in the medium term it ends up breaking down. It is the third I have bought in three years. And it always breaks in the same place. Otherwise the product responds to expectations.

I swim several hours a week. This MP3 gives me complete satisfaction. I've been swimming with finished MP3s for years. The quality increases, and some faults have been corrected (eg the cable between the headphones is more flexible and therefore wears less. Really satisfied!

I bought this on recommendation from another swimmer. I must say, its brilliant. I've had various other waterproof mp3 players and always struggled to keep the ear buds in. The Finis Duo is brilliant, easy to charge, simple to load and operate, and has great sound quality. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

The product is flawless you just drop the files in, you play it and play it at once. I had the same first generation and it lasted for 9 years. I bought this with closed eyes. It is very easy to use, and comes with a charging stand. He came to Greece a week after ordering and had a flawless packaging so that he would not hit. It was wrapped in bubble wrap and in another box. I really have no reason not to recommend this product or shop to others.

They came pretty quickly, bought the same in Ukraine, much more expensive, and the edges of the cable were not reinforced, so it broke very quickly ... Everything seems fine with these! The sound is super, a little not very convenient button functionality but for swimming super!

My finis duo was working fine for a few months, and suddenly this morning, I turned it on, and it works, then it just died. After that, I cannot charge it.

Dear Juani, I have had several of these and considered them as “the only functional open water headphones”. Can of course also be used I the pool, without falling off. In-ear headphones doesn’t work, when ears are full of water. The Bluetooth ones doesn’t work without a phone. The sound in these are brilliant, AS SOON AS YOU HAVE YOUR HEAD UNDER WATER (for crawl). Outside the water the sound is not particular good (breaststroke). I’m not able to tell you how many decibel they can play, but the “bone technology” is also used in hearing aids. The sound is nice and clear, but the bass sound might not be the best. I never use them at full volume, and my best guess is that you should be “pretty deaf”, if not being able to hear the sound. Guess it depend on which sounds (high/low) is most difficult for you to hear, but all in all, I recommend them highly. I don’t use mine every time I swim, but I swim 1000+ kilometers a year - so plenty of time to test.

I have no idea what the decibels are but I wear them on bones at back of skull behind ears and the sound is magnified through my skull. I LOVE these, would not swim without them

I have Menier syndrome disease and I only hear 20 percent, being by bone conduction THEY WILL WORK I love swimming and I have used the normal ones but they have little DB for my loss THANKS

Hello, I have been using this player for many years, I have not tried others, the music is heard very well, you have to take into account that water also acts as a transmitter of sounds. I have always recommended them, you can also put plugs in your ears, and then you hear much better... Greetings

In the beginning you have to find out how it fits best, takes a few minutes. It's fun and easy to use, and the connection with the MAC works fine. Would buy it again!
